THE ANCIENT AMAZON

  • amazon01
Two hundred million years ago when America und Africa formed one continent, the powerful Amazon river was running into a different direction than it does today. From East to West.
But America was drifting west - the Andes piled up and caused the Amazon river to change its direction.
With this journey through the film we start in the deep Brasilian jungle and end in the middle of the Sahara.
A surplus of water and an extremely dry and degrading area marks the way.
